As trial approaches, we encourage & welcome you to join us in the courtroom. This issue affects the entire Denny Blaine community, and your presence is deeply appreciated.

Please follow the below guidelines if you plan to attend:

• Maintain a calm, businesslike, and professional demeanor at all times.
• Do not react visibly to testimony — no sighing, eye-rolling, head-shaking, whispering, or laughing.
• For privacy, do not discuss the case…
  • In or near the courthouse; or
  • In transit to or from the courthouse.
  • Assume that the Plaintiffs will overhear anything you share in these areas.
• Dress in conservative attire.
• Silence all phones and devices before entering.
• No texting or browsing in the courtroom.
• No food or drinks are permitted in the courtroom.
• Do not speak or gesture to opposing counsel or Plaintiff.
• Stand when the judge enters or exits.
• Understand that anything you say or do will reflect on our case. It’s possible that Plaintiffs will have people in the audience, in the hallway, in the elevator, or on the street who may overhear your conversations.

Schedule

Trial beings on 5/27, sessions will be held Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00am – 12pm and 1:30pm – 4:00 pm, with 15-minute morning and afternoon breaks.
Note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change as trial goes on.
Supporters are welcome to attend at any point during the day. If arriving after proceedings have started, please enter quietly and respectfully.

Update: Closing arguments are expected to be heard on Thursday June 11th.
